Whats up with Dr DeeJay??:D
The whole story would make the longest of Stolly's excellent running stories seem like a one liner. Let us just say that thanks to the most unusual delay I've experienced on the railways I got home over 4 hours late at midnight and instead of a six mile fell run I ended up doing a 6 mile fell run PLUS an extra 8 mile road run and a 4 mile walk with no food since the night before (OK I can't blame the railways for that bit)*
BTW If I ever said I was looking at long distance challenges which I strenuously deny that's exactly what I meant, "Looking" :p

*Yes I can, bloody stations with no catering facilities"
And some of those West Cumbrians come close to rivalling some of my compatriots on Tyneside in the looks and sophistication stakes!;)
But seriously being the unfit person I am no way will I have fully recovered even by Sunday's race day so Ambrosia Kid will beat me by an even more embarrassing margin than usual:o
Dee jay had better worry about rice pudding boy (with jam) as RPB is picking up long distance DJ and PT(fellow geordie pony) at Darlington Station for Sundays Castleton race, I hope the train is on time.Me thinks he should invest in some driving lessons:p Might change my name to Rice Pudding Boy , I like it:D
I too lack sophistication and film star looks but after your self description above I should easily recognise you at a future gathering, possibly Haworth, look forward to it!
The Master and his wobbleboard yesterday:

Obviously practising for the Championships :D
Ive been having a terrible time with Mrs C's wobble board since my youngest spotted the words "for her" inscribed on it
The kids now shout at me everytime i go near it coz i shouldnt use a "girls one"
Yeah i know, SHUT IT, YOU FAT DOLLBOY:D
SHUT IT YOU FAT DOLLBOY!
Saw that coming:rolleyes: :D
Another Fell Pony win today. Well done Fellmonster, that rear end must be getting smellier, your getting faster:eek:

UP THE PONIES!
Super Congrats to fellmonster
in other news, I finally cracked 2hrs for HalfMara today (1:58) at Wrexham Village Bakery
however, I know I entered my club as "Fell Ponies (FRA No. whatever)", but in the results the miserable b@stards have listed me as "Fell Runners Association" - BOOOO!
Well done on the half marathon mate. Looks as though I'm confortable in the "Greatest endurance / Longest time out on the course" stakes!
Everybody seems fine, don't think the master is fully fit yet, he's been using a girl's wobble board:eek: I've heard he's put on that much weight he can wobble without it. (Visions of Master Staypuffed, Ghostbusters)
All the best, mate, off out on me bike now. Weather's great:cool:
And those exercises I hope Master. Any chance of trotting soon do you reckon?
UP THE PONIES.
Im having thumbs pressed into it tomorrow for the last time and am keeping fingers crossed for a little jog by the weekend....im going to beast it as soon as i can....you are getting too bouncy in my absence
will you be back for black combe master ?
I hope he is. As my regular photographer Rice Pudding Boy isn't going, I need someone else who's quick enough to run half way back up the hill after they've finished to snap me racing:rolleyes: down the final descent
make sure you say hello deejay,im the short stocky pony
Will do, be good to meet some more Ponies. I'll be the very tall skinny grey haired one
Black Combe is a bit of a long shot at the moment...havent been able to run for 5 weeks and have only just stopped walking with a comedy limp.
If i can run on it without pain in the next week or so i may consider a jog round, if not i know someone who wants a place tho am not sure of the rules for substitutions.
Spectating is an option....i might rather enjoy jeering and heckling you all. Not sure if i could improve on Fellmonsters wise motivational shout of "Dont stop!" though....the BALLbag:D
