4m to work on singlespeed, Liver Hill race last night. Didn't get to bed till midnight then up at 4.30, that could be the reason i'm pooped. 4m home into headwind, couldn't resist chasing and passing a mountain biker uphill, more like jelly than merry legs now:eek:
Had a great day out with steampig.Set off from Selside ;tourist route round Whernside.Up Inglebugger.(tough climb up steps)Came down off simon Fell and turned left back to Selside.Great! If the sun don't shine in the next 3 weeks the folk on the 3P attire thread can forget road shoes!
Top butties Steampig!
:( my legs woujdn't work properly today
Tried a gentle 3 miles on TPT with daughter cycling at side. Back still sore and find it hard to bend down and/or twist but it definitely feels the better for it.
only a gentle 3 miles for me too today plus the bike commute -glad wind has died down but I hear more snow is forecast for later in weekend:eek:
Catch up post: to celebrate British summertime, a tough 10 miler up onto the moors north of Ilkley after work on monday, and then a lung-busting hilly 10 mile TT-type effort on the bike tonight. Loving the light evenings!
First run of the week, but 3 out of 3 to work on the bike. Dry - yippee!..and no wind and double figures at last on the celcius chart Monday, but wind yesterday and today.
Did regular 4.75 course at lunchtime, but decided with it being April it was time for speedwork! This time last year had done about 12 track sessions.
So 4.75 in 34 mins, with 8 x 50 fast (approx 90 secs recov)? Not timed recoveries yet, but that'll come soon. Felt OK.
Easy 4m recover run yesterday morning, then 7 mile with the club in the Kilpatricks above Clydebank. Lovely evening and hills from now on, hurrah!
