I hope so too... need to make sure I get the right surgeon to do the job apparently, as that can make a difference between a doddle and a nightmare...

Sounds like hardship Erno ;)
65.30 this morning for 3 laps of Richmond Park - getting quicker!
Excellent Zoot!
I made it as far as putting the bike in the car, drive to the station to pick up my friend, put his bike in my car, drive into town and streight into Caffe Nero for 3 large lattes... as it was/is chucking it down here and only just above freezing!
On a positive note: I am shaking with caffeine overdose and the knee feels much better than yesterday, after yesterday afternoons ride :)
Toff, think you are right :)
Yaay! Finally got out on the bike with a double dip lurgy and a recovering ankle for company. Short thrash up the Kymin. At the top felt like I was 1 2 after running the 800 metres!
58 miles into the peak district, bolehill and a few other climbs. Back down the a6 then across to little eaton and over drum hill past the scout camp. Roads very greasy but not too bad. One or two others out which was good. Last climb up to the cat and fiddle windmill and just as I'm topping out matey boy is playing in his helicopter on his land. The windmill is looking sad , it's sails have fell off. Hann can you bring some over next time your in holland.
Lattes. Eh wah.
Remember to just ease back on your tyre pressure in these conditions. They will grip better. No need for 120psi this time of year.
today i was riding 30psi
round myrtle park in sunny bingley
when i say riding i mean carrying my bike :)
only two crashes really - 1 a muddy downhill corner, the other a gone worng dismount! by the last few laps my pedals were so muddy i couldn't get my feet back in, so had to balance on top.
i came 72 out of 81, 6th woman out of 7 - think i'll go round saying 6th lady - sounds impressive :) :)
6th lady Ratfink, that is what I'd stick to... and casually mention the total number of competitors too ;)
WELL DONE! Sounds like you had a great race and you didn't come last! :D
I went to the track, and took it easy... Two reasons: my knee, I was very anxious for it to lock up again, but it didn't... and it was an improvers session that a few of us had joined. The standard of riding was lethal!!!!! Steve, my mate, and I stepped off an hour early almost, because we were afraid to be brought down by the erratic riding... :( Ah well, we all need to learn! But two weeks ago a different coach took that session and he let us do our won thing, i.e. pursuit training, in between their improvers sessions... as in we were on the track in their breaks and vice versa. Worked much better!
glad your knee held up Hann :D
i found a pic
