Do many people use the own drinks service at Ribblehead and Hill Inn ? Just wondering how reilable it is, Normally I carry my own but wouldn't mind shedding a bit of weight if possible
I stuck a post in lift share. Travelling up from stockport area if anyone wants a lift.
Re: 3 Peaks Fell Race 2013
Like you, I'd been cautious of using it in my first 3 races, but used it last year for the first time and it worked a treat - better than my legs anyway ;)

I used it on my first PPP, seemed ok, make sure your bottle is distinctive and well labelled though.
Not used it since because i dont carry water now, there's enough with the drinks stations for me.
Re: 3 Peaks Fell Race 2013
Definitely use the service, though you have to keep your wits about you to find your own drop at Ribblehead. Last time I wasted a couple of minutes searching until a bystander helped me locate my bottle 'n' banana.
By the time I reached the Hill Inn, it was a lot easier, since it was almost the only one left....:o
Re: 3 Peaks Fell Race 2013
Looks like it could be a wintery run.
Re: 3 Peaks Fell Race 2013
I'm going to have to withdraw. Does anyone know if there is an official method via SiEntries. I looked today but there's nothing. I supoose an e-mail to the address on the site is the best bet failing any other way.

Yeah its great. I've used it a couple of times, just make sure its well labelled, a marshal kindly saw me running towards the drinks area and she located my drinks bottle and handed it to me without me having to break stride. I'll defo be using it again
