Only about a trillion of us. I've a sneaking suspicion this one attracts more of us than any other. I seem to remember the most likely bit to be frozen is the climb up to the shoulder of Stoodley Pike later on. All that food going to waste as well (down the rest of you). I'll be the one on the the technical energy diet (Kendal Mint Cake).
Feeling a bit sulky about missing this for the first time in a few years.
Will try to shout a few words of encouragement and abuse as you all go past my house (bottom of Jumble Hole Clough).
Sorry you're missing it, Duff. If I knew where Jumble Hole Clough is I'd hurl some abuse back as I pass through. I can't find it on my Tracklogs printout.
I think Splatcher is right. It's a BIG turnout of runners and forumites. Looking forward to it.
See you all there :D
Hey Duff - perhaps a quick gander www.heptonstallfellrace.org.uk will cheer you up??? The route is equally complex at times. A huge written route description will keep you busy for the next 2 months. Heptonstall Fell Race is on March 20th.
Oh I am doing this one! My first LDWA - with my friend training for my first 50 in March - looking forward to it!
See you all in the morning, nice and early!:D
Ahh, I see. Checkpoint 3 in the woodwork shop with the good nosh! Just over 10 miles in. I'll be on the lookout.
