Blimey Daz have you seen my diary?!! I've entered most of those events and agree that they have lots of runners. Not done the 6 Dales, Brockholes or Rhayader ones before so don't know about those. Hebden, That's Lyth and Rombalds probably have the most runners.
Also coming up week on Sat 31 Oct, Bottoms up Haloween from Hoghton, Blackburn. Few of us who did the Round Rotherham (any one seen the the photos??) hope to do it. Let me know if you want a map, just making one up.
I did that last year. Only did the half though.
Nice route.
Mostly fields for the first half until you hit witton park where you skip through feniscoles and along the tow path for a few miles.
As for where it goes after that...i havent got a clue.
Nice friendly organisers and nice grub.
