Morgan,
Just regard it as a magnamimous act of charity on my part.

I must have taken the higher, higher line then.
Not often I have a fellow Harrier tucked in behind me in a race on Ilkey Moor, but then you is an off cumden. ;)
Worked a treat though cos you sneaked past Graham too while he was taking the higher line. :D
Didn't see anyone higher than Graham but Anti managed it somehow.
They will take their revenge in due course no doubt. :D
I bought one of those 3watt LED torches from Tesco for 8 quid today. It feels very solid and well made - a bit like a fatter version of a mini-maglite. I couldn't do my usual comprehensive torch test as my bike is propped up on the door of the cupboard under the stairs ;) but initial tests under the sink in the kitchen look good and it appears substantially brighter than an Alpkit headtorch. I might have a run out with it tonight and I'll report back with my findings if I do :)
Very impressed with my 8 quid Tesco LED torch! Beam is much brighter than Alpkit headtorch I've been using although it's a tight area. I noticed last night while out with my mate how diffuse the Hope lights are and this is nothing like that but well worth a try for anyone wanting to try nightrunning for the first time, or anyone like me who's been in Yorkshire for a while ;)
I bought one at the weekend and use it to walk to the bus ever morning and evening on the dark roads. Well impressed with it. Great for shining in the eyes of drivers who don't dip their main beams. :D
