This week ends training in Scotland doing Ramsey recces with Nicky and a group from PFPR and DPFR

Loads of snow and ice on the tops and stunning weather, gentles breezes, occasional snow showers and sunshine. Most river crossings were done with dry feet!

7.65 mile on the trail paths tonight around Pex Hill 3.3 mile of it with Tryfan. Felt quite tired tonight but a lovely evening for running.
A five mile and 800 footer in the hills, starting off in hail, that turned to freezing rain, then sleet and ultimately snow as I got higher. A fine blow out though and a fantastic last two miles back down a waterlogged quagmire of a track.
Its a great feeling to put yourself out in the elements, feeling somewhat less than enthusiastic, and ending up having a corker of a run :D

Woz gonna run today, but had to nip and see a workmate who's off after a knee op, so road bike again. 12 miles to work at 16mph average, 4m home, 3 of which is uphill at 13.9 mph average, seem to be able to go faster after clocking out:rolleyes: Somebody please tell me off if i don't run tomorrow;)
