Re: Duddon - 5th June 2010
Thanks to all the marshalls. How did they get 2 x 5 gallon drums of water to the top of White Pike?[/QUOTE]
We have the very nice farmer from Turner Hall Campsite to thank for the water.....he took them up on his Quad bike. I tried to talk him into another delivery for this Saturday at Kirk Fell, Pillar or Black Sail Pass area.....he said he was busy.

A few pics from the final descent near to the finish. Missed those at the front and the last few also. Have uploaded them at original quality so apologies if they are a bit slow to load but it does mean you can grab and crop if you want.

Re: Duddon - 5th June 2010
Just noticed the results are up:
http://duddonvalley.fellrace.org.uk/races/long/2010
Can't bear to look!
Re: Duddon - 5th June 2010
You lot are quick (when clicking, anyway!). They'd been up for less than a minute when you noticed them.
There's a bit more trickery this time: click on a club or category name to see a subset of the results.
Long race is here, short race here, past results are linked from those pages and more will go up soon.
best,
will
Re: Duddon - 5th June 2010
Merely serendipity, I'm afraid.

Probably the grim reaper and his acolytes. No need to worry. You're fine so long as you beat at least one of them.
Re: Duddon - 5th June 2010
Can somebody please clear up a tad of confusion:confused:
on the Duddon fell race web site its says short is 11 miles and on the FRA web site it says the short is 9.5 miles, i have also seen that the short is 9 miles.
Thanks
