Re: Snowdon 2008
The shoe debate will go on forever I think it just comes down to personal preference. I used Adidas road shoes two years back and they was great. Last year I used innov8 Roclite 315's and wasn't very impressed by them at all. Planning on Nike road or trail shoes this time still can't decide.
How many of us have carried a boot full of shoes like Rodders Rambler? Me for one with just in case....

Re: Snowdon 2008
I've definitely not received a questionnaire. Maybe it's only for the Welsh, or those who speak Welsh, or who's names sound Welsh, or those that have a bit of Welsh in them somewhere.

Re: Snowdon 2008
entered snowden for first time. no idea which shoes i will need i am camping at llwyn celyn bach campsite from early wednesday morning so if anyone could help me out finding a map of the route i could check it out first. p.s. has anyone done the green green grass of home run, i wondered if it would be worth the 40 mile drive from llamberis camp site wednesday night

Re: Snowdon 2008
Yeah cheers, got my letter through this week. Stan's some runner up hill, the start of Tal Y Fan was embarrassing as him and Rob left me for dead. Bit worried as I'm not running as well now as I was in May.
Fellboy: The route is obvious. Just follow the Llanberis path, no map needed. It's a landrover sized track all the way. The path that runs up near the railway on the OS map.
Re GGGofH yeah worth doing, I drove from here last year and thought it worth the drive, I take it changes a bit each year from what fellrunner says, but nice run, nice area/organisation.
