Lashed it down today. Snorkel packed.
First time I have done this and what a cracking race it was. The hail, rain, wind, puddles and the fast flowing rivers just added to the fun on this superbly organised event.
Many thanks to all the marshals who may not have enjoyed the weather as much as I did.

I 'nipped round the corner' earlier to speak to my club-mate, & I don't think he enjoyed it too much, but he finished safely (which is the main thing!)
Legs are feeling better than expected today so I might be up for the Sedbergh recce. I'll let you know tomorrow.Quote:
