Anyone know when FTOP 2011 results will be posted up - assuming I haven't missed them somewhere?
I presume they will appear here first?

Not so much of the Ex Para then?;)
Lakes 100 recce; BG recce or Hobble recce... open to suggestions (as ever).
A few from Macc may join in and I'll have the dog, so distance / logistics may be interesting. Clewy on here has expressed interest too, so we may have quite a posse out on Saturday 3rd.
Be fun whatever we end up doing.
Beautiful day for the tour! Managed to knock 26 mins off my time from the first time i did it three years ago as my first ever long fell race and came in as planned at 3.08.
As ever had some nice chats with some lovely friendly people, great to have shouts of encouragement from so many people along the route. Super marshals and a fantastic day out!
Vicci
sorry to miss you ( i was working, honest- was out Tues, wed , thurs and going to be out Sun)
If you did 3.08 you must have finished close to and been running with my MM partner Rowena for some of the way (Bowland vest)
Good time. My last was 3.15 and best 3.05 but that was a few years ago now and I ma older!
Hi karen i was! We were back and forward a few times over the course and then i passed her finally ( killing myself on a srint finish!) on the track down past the reservoirs towards the finish.
I had a nose at your times funnily enough beore the race to get a rough idea of where i should be heading for! Xx

I can't compete with Ady or Wharfeego in terms of quality - but I did the best I could. Should have got virtually everyone at the fell gates, but was hampered by recording numbers at CP11 so only managed a few shots. Apologies to Daz H who came past in fourth - tried to get two shots, but he was obscured by my mate who was collecting the tags on the first and Martins Mrs backside on the second one! I promised Kath I wouldnt put that one on the web - but I have kept a copy as insurance!!
NB I cocked up naming the file on Picasaweb (not for the first time) so it just has the date 20th Nov 2011.
PS If anyone looks at any of the other files be aware that the David Staff race photos are obviously last years since the race is not till this Sunday. Does anyone know how you edit the file names? Managed to sort now.
Also ran - think you need to make that album public.
Good shout - I think I've managed it now!!
Just for those of you who still struggling to walk after Saturdays race, Carl Bell (tour winner) went on to win Eaves Wood Trail race by almost a minute the next day!!

Amazing, well done Carl Bell, i barely won the getting out of bed without wobbling race on sunday morning!
Brilliant photos Andy.
A few of mine, first attempts with new camera.

....stevefoster about to tackle Jeronimo[/SIZE]
Er, point of order... The steep descent into Ogden Clough has been known as "Ski Sunday" ever since Tony Quinn coined that name for it way back in about 1987 after a particularly snowy Tour.
"Jeronimo" or "Geronimo" are modern abberations, brought to the race by wet-behind-the-ears offcomers who don't know any better....
Thank you so very very much indeedy...
C'mon Keiran,
Where's those eagerly anticipated results?..........................
Great race, well organised and nice to see many friends en route.Nice touch with keiron addressing us in the bunch before the off. I liked that.Highlight of the race for me was being able to don my cycling cap at judiths cairn. A very very special moment. Felt very humbled as i passed by.Very well done to martin ( not yet met you but i was told of your story mate) excellent effort. Pretty special. Also a big well done to my friend mr taylor. Steve you have defied the odds and returned to fellracing. That means a lot to myself and many of the good friends on here.Your journey probably like martins cannot have been easy. To you both id just like to say i have huge respect. Amazing

Having read about Martin on this thread I was amazed he ran this very hard race, in a good time, so soon after his surgery. Well done indeed. What is the story behind steve and his come back?
Scroll down to the Wendy Dodds bit:)
