Cheers DinoF. I'm only in Hayfield so if I can get the train I'll be there. If it is cancelled, anyone fancy a run round the Skyline route for nighttime/ snow practice?!

we're thinking something similar - if only to burn off all the excess calories consumed in preparation!!
HPM 2016 cancelled:(
Tomorrow night...
Damp up on Bleaklow with bits of snow - and that was before last night's dump as well!
I went over Bleaklow tody pictures posted on my EO FB page below or on HPM FB page.
Win hill, loose hill, howden are all pretty clear if very wet.
Bleaklow had drifting snow up to 2-3ft in the cloughs and it was very cold. but it was patchy and not blanketed.
Kinder looked like it had a reasonable amoiut particularly on western slopes.
I can't see any records going or super fast times.
I'm not racing but if any one fancies a night walk I'm thinking of going up CG and walking to rabbit cairn and down to Fiddlers. starting around midnight
Can every one give Lucy a shout at Cutgate CP, she is my god daughter...I don't think she knows what shes in for.. :D
What weather forecast would you all prefer?
Good luck to all doing this. I don't envy any of you.
I was up on Brown Knoll last night lots of semi frozen snow in low lying areas and quite a few slips in the ice, be careful everybody.
We were on the Plateau last night, it was either thigh deep drifts or clear ground. Good luck everyone!
Snorkel and fins might be worth considering have fun folks :)
Nice wet dark misty night.
Will challenge some.
Well, if you didn't get lost its a nice day to complete.
mist cleared from just after outer edge to make things a bit easier (to spot Holme Moss and run towards it and not on your compass).
very damp from bleaklow stones to snake, and snow on kinder edge slowed things down at the end.
Shane was the most broken. Mill Hill on was a death march and I had visions of Flipper's Gang or Haggis on Tour popping up behind us!
Another great result for you Nic, you're certainly racking them up.
Your team mate Jim must be a machine with his exploits of late and I wouldn't be surprised if I see Adam at Cautley today....well done guys.
Top result Nic, and plenty more Pennine in the top 10 as well.
d1no_f managed the Hope winter race on the Sunday so definitely on for the 'sticks!
Darren should probably be looking for a Saturday race too. I got most of Saturday off, so not really proper Fishwicking.
It's certainly an event I'd like to partake in.....but not at the speed ba-ba ploughs on at.
DinoF....good skills matey.
Derby Tup, you're a big tease.
Not in! Bit gutted, but being a new team knew that the chances were slim. Still planning a north of A57 recce next week one evening.
anyone need a team member?
With the heavy snow predicted for Thursday/Friday a 'bad weather route' appears likely.
I know a team looking for a member. I'd guess they would be on for 10:30 to 11:30 (so obviously it doesn't include me).
Let me know if you fancy it and I'll pass on your details.
I'll be there to cheer everyone off on Friday night, but I'm on driving duties on Saturday so unfortunately I'll be asleep in a warm bed in Edale YHA while everyone is off running :)
What news from the shire? An 8.32 has popped up on my stava from Konrad, I assume that was the win for Haggis on Tour?
First for the haggis on tour but they did trail for a while.
Great result for Nickys team after one of the team went blind to miw first female and first dp team.
