Pleasure to meet you Iain. I was looking out for you at the end but no joy you were probably at Chester by the time I finished.
Likewise I really enjoyed the race I ran in the Pennine top and I was fine with that. Done this race two years ago (could not get a pass last year :) ). I knocked 15 minutes of that time and got into the top half of the field which is what I was hoping for so very happy with that.
My first time at this race, had a great time and the weather was really conducive to running fast.
Zepr, where did you get those pictures from, I was in the pack just in front of you following a guy who knew a lot of shortcuts so I probably saw you (or you could see me)
Really enjoyed the race today. The weather was pretty decent and underfoot conditions were better than I expected compared to what we've had lately especially in the Calder Valley area! Thanks to all the organisers and the marshals for helping us find the scout hut at the end, I've been having nightmares that I would end up in New Mills! Well done to the lady who got the results out so quickly, much appreciated.
You were right DrPatrickBarry, the hill at Peep O Day wasn't as bad as I'd remembered. I wanted to do sub 3 hours so I had to run up there as time was ticking by and I forgot we had to go right to the top but I managed to get finish in 2:50.
Good luck with your race in 2 weeks Mike if you're reading this and nice to meet you.
Great race today. My first ever long fell race and it felt like it. A big thanks to the organisers, the three girls who helped me find the best line across Kinder, the very noisy and encouraging Mountain Rescue people at the top of the climb from the Sett and the little girls with the jelly babies on the run to and from Peep O Day.
Hi
I was 139, blonde guy with a bottle. Any pictures of 139 or 138 (my dad) would be awesome
Can't find 138...

great race today
good to see/chat with Mrs Stagger, Truck and William Clough
superb organisation on all fronts (right up to the light-speedy results!)
I ran out of steam a bit towards the end, but still managed just to crack 3 hours, so settle for that
