Thanks all! When I got up this morning I'd forgotten it was my birthday till the family reminded me. A new TomTom satnav should be mine once Amazon deliver it - we were a bit late ordering it. 5.7 miles of towpath this morning with the dog, on very tired legs, due to the weekend's BG recce shenanigans. I still haven't decided whether I'm doing any of my usual Tuesday hill reps, but the state of my legs & next Saturday's Haworth Hobble are strong arguments to have a birthday rest.

Cheers Moley. I dipped out of the hill reps - just walking up stairs is hard work today. Nice glass of white wine, & my dinner on the way. The great thing about not doing the hill reps is that I don't have to feel guilty, provided I don't look too far ahead. I'll actually be faster at the weekend because I didn't do them.

And, I've got chocolate.
