Lots of Red Kite and Buzzards around the Brecon Fans area on a gorgeous day...
The other day: four kestrels flying from tree to tree together - like a bunch of long-tailed tits. I can only assume it was a family group.
Today: two red kites about 200 metres from our house. I keep saying it: they're getting more common. Lovely to see.
Saw a Red Kite soaring above the A14 nr Huntingdon the other day.
Yesterday evening, two badgers running across a road near the town centre. They were heading in the direction of the Grammar School, presumably on their way to dig up one of the beautifully kept lawns or playing fields there. :)
Saw a bird with what appeared to be distinctive black & white striped wings, in Longsleddale today.
Possibly a Wagtail?
lots of swallows still around this afternoon. Possibly feeding up before they depart.
Red Squirrel burying nuts right at the finish line of Buttermere Sailbeck...
