It's cos it's a scottishathletics permitted race and if you run up here and are NOT a member of scottishathletics the organisers pay a levy of £2 from the race fee to scottishathletics for all the benefits the governing body give back to them :rolleyes:
If you're not Scottish they probably reckon you pay your money to your local governing body through your club or something.

According to this year's race programme, the entry list was full on 6th December, but given the interest in the race and the fact that it is in the 2008 Sky Runner World Series, I imagine it will be full very quickly. Get your entry in the post.

Quite a lot were in the Crofter Bar after the prize giving.
Bingley, Calder Valley, Keighley and Dark peak were all have fun and banter.
Keep me informed I need a gallon of pain killer to sleep after the race.

Yeah rabbit mine went off on thursday,next year is going to be pretty good for me i reckon

Mine will be printed out and sent 1st class Monday. Going to line some challenging events up for my 40th year next year - might even look into an ironman since re-acquainting myself with swimming whilst away....mmmmmm
