Looked like a good run, had to miss it as this cold's still got me by the short and curlys.
Not sure if you got there, Mr B. (Oops, posts crossed in the, er, post.) The road loop is anti-clockwise to Hawkswick and back to Arncliffe. A pleasant loop, though I set off thinking I was still in my 30s.
The fell race goes south up to Blue Scar and back. Pretty rough ground, so not too hot if you've a dodgy ankle.
A grand day out though.

Did both races, good fun. Slower than last year for both but no surprise there.

That's Paul Sessford road isn't his speciality!
Just wanted to say a big thank you to the man who encouraged my daughter to the top of the hill in the U12s. She got quite upset on the climb, but thanks to him she made it, ran all the way back and now feels proud of herself for not dropping out, and we are very proud of her for finishing the race too.
