Thanks to GA and all Ilkey Harriers & other helpers/marshals etc. A cracking day for the race which was fast and furious and did exactly as it said 'on the tin' (probably not to all fell runners liking) - nice breeze in the woods but perhaps a little warm on the moorland paths & tracks.
Good to see the great Ron Hill introduced to the masses before the race:)
I didn't hang around for results but understand an Ilkley Harrier won.
theres some prov results on ilkley site via the forum

As I've explained in the relevant thread on 'Runners World.co.uk', I still hope I can make it there on the day.
Anyway, they're a nice alternative to the usual fare:D
There is one small, minor, 'teenise-weensie' thing though please:rolleyes: (it's just my pedantic side emerging)
I e-mailed Paul Wood asking if my Club name could be corrected on the next amendment of the advance entry list, but it's still wrong (see below for correct spelling)
Decided to run this again as opposed to Austwick on the Monday so I'll be there:)
Did this last year on a lovely sunny day. Might do it again, but it's Cader the day before........eeeeeeek..
