Dawg, sorry about outing you in my last post. You've got one of those user names that's kind of difficult to use.
Anyway, I've edited the post no hard feelings I hope.
Ben, you were trucking at Fairfield. Well done.
does anyone know if this race is being run this year as i can't see it in the calender.
Allegedly May 16th 1pm. Details not confirmed for wfra calendar. But the suggestion is that you check on www.eryri.org.uk for latest info.
That's the old link I think,

Yeah, 16th of May anyway.
thats bad news already planned a weeks holiday in the lake district and running the fairfield horseshoe that day, really enjoyed moel eilio last year:(
On hols with family in Pwlhelli next month and hoping for a pass out from t'wife to do this one. Have brief details from Eryri website but wondered if anyone had any info on course. Is it an easy route to follow? Am I likely to get lost? (usually top 20% finisher). What are kit requirements? Owt decent in Llanberis to keep t'wife and 8 yr old daughter amused?
Ta:cool:
Very easy to follow, basically head over to bwlch y groes but at the top gate head off L past the telegraph poles and follow a trod which joins the main track to eilio, then follow the ridge over Foel Goch, Foel Gron and Cynghorion and then descend straight off to join the maesgwm track and run back along that to finish at the youth hostel.
Family wise, the race this year and from now on is a charity event, raising money for cancer charities, so as part of that there will be a challenge walk which will be up and down Eilio, would they do that?

There's the slate museam, quarry hospital and cafes down in the village.
