They are in the UK, you have to pay the usual $ to £ hike but at least if they are the wrong size its easier to send back. I might go this route to start with and if I get on with them get the 2nd from the US.

I'm hoping to do part of my run tomorrow in some aqua shoes I've got (which I use for kayaking). I've already worn them on the road and they were fine (though they're not that breathable)
It looks as though Inov8 may soon go out of business with all these fell runners running barefoot or in aquashoes/five fingers/etc!

I havnt seen "Vibram 5 Fingers" in many retailers where you can actually try them on .

Just bought 2 pairs of these from a local sports shop for £10 each - found them online for £4 as well!!.

Once you take the inner sole out they are very light and flexible, but don't think they will be mega breathable. They do have a bit of mesh though. I gave them a little go and they felt great. Will try them out for a couple of miles over the next few days.
Right. Took the plunge and ordered some five fingers last night, will post on here my experiences. Quite excited now :)
Which ones did you go for?
Looking at them I think the only ones I could wear without any form of embarrasment is the KSO in black!

I read Born to Run last week and felt like I'd been whacked over the head with a plank of wood re the crapness of built up running shoes. I have since tried 2 x 10 minute runs on a treadmill in just socks. I followed the sizing guide on the USA website and thought I'd need a 39 or 40. The 39 was a tiny bit tight on the right toes so I got the 40 and have been wearing them around the house for a few hours. They are dead comfy and I'm suprised by how little I notice having my toes separated.
I'll try a short run outside in them tomorrow and I hope they prove worth the money (£80!). Incidentally, the shop assistant in Naked Ape was very knowledgable about fit etc as he wears them himself. He reckons they are selling like hot cakes and every spare inch of the shop was stacked with boxes of them so I believe him. Haven't ever seen anyone wearing them though and also wouldn't dare show up at running club in mine.
Hi Dru, what size shoe are you normally, I have used the "sizing guide" on the website and the size suggests a 39 for FF's, I usually take a UK size 8 ...
