What a cracking evening out. Really enjoyed it! Trig - I had you in my sights but you left me in your wake on the final road descent. Good running ;).
Was another enjoyable run out, I'm a relative newbie to running having been a cyclist for a few years & i have to say its the fells that leave me grinning most afterwards!!
Any idea who it was taking the photo's?
See You all at Heptonstall on the 7th!
Captain Shuffle it was a local who was taking the photos. When passed the CD they will be viewed on the Cragg race page. Will let you know. Great night and a good amount raised for local causes. Thanks all for turning up and making it a very enjoyable evening.:w00t:
Apologies if you couldn't read the results. Sorted now.
Midge cream (marmite?) at the ready
Is Wim of Little Valley Brewery setting up his pop-up pub again?
Word is that Little Valley will be there Trig. I ran it last year, having a bash at being sweeper this time - hope that still entitles me to a pint or two! Look forward to pottering around at the back and enjoying the views!
another counter in the club challenge so I'll be there
That was alright wasn't it? Midges have given me a good working over though!
How good was last night? Registration and presentation in the church added to the quirkiness of midweek fell races. The church ladies were lovely with their homemade butties and cakes. The biggest surprise was the hand pulled real ale being served in the church, the lord does indeed work in mysterious ways. Thanks to all involved, beltin night of fellrunning.
Yeah, going to church is starting to have some appeal
Here's a little video I took of the starting dash - link
Still scratching my Cragg Souvenirs - thanks to the Scarfs and Co - a very enjoyable evening
See you all on Saturday....
