Not telling. He's going back next week anyway.

I will have him... My chapel is double height and he will go well with the guineafowl and Dom's tortoise... :p
The cat made a better fell runner than the bloody giraffe. They should stick to their poncy safari TV shows. Lesson learnt.
I am going to bed with my colouring book, I have a tortoise picture to do :).
Courgettes can get swine flu??
Attention defacit caused by the owner being out running/cycling/working......
You don't deserve him, you left him at your parents house!!!
8 tonight.
But the Missus forgot to cook any for my supper .
And don't even think about blaming that on the bloke that rescued him and adopted him a few months back!!! :D
Hah! I did know how to use my repairkit, only problem was, it was missing a replacement link for my broken chain :(
And the fact that the chain broke was due to a bloke who over-zealously decided to clean the bike up a few weeks back, wearing the chain thin with all the brushing and solvents...
I was forbidden from harvesting tonight, Missus said they were too small. Damn growth rate has slowed up :(.
But Beastly Boris, the baby tortoise, has been tucking into a chunk of roast pheasant carcase (he dragged it under the woodburner). All is not lost and the Moley Mayhem continues
That is gutting Moley... Suppose you have to be prepared for the slowing down of the growth rate, as autumn seems to be aproaching rapidly :(
Tiny courgettes are nice though, fried whole, crispy batter with parmesan on the outside, nice and soft and sweet on the inside... with some new potatoes and a grilled camembert...
Just back from my week away.. and which fellrunner thread seems to have had the most postings - and certainly the funniest - yep, courgettes! Love it!
Just found the following which I thought was worth sharing..
'You can lead a horticulture but you can't make her think' - Dorothy Parker
Salubrious greetings back OBW, you did not miss a classic week of courgette growth but I blame that on the weather (and Gordon Brown).
Today: 1 picked
6 eaten .
There should be an improved harvest tomorrow, they are still coming well, but growing much slower.
Humph, who would be a courgette farmer in these trying times :o.
Well, he would... and his seem to come ready wrapped....
