I'm not aware that TT has felt bullied by me, but I shall be sure to ask.
Why did you tell me to shut my trap then, if it's not you or your style?
How am I living in the past?
I think i post rather clearly......and often at length. I suspect you are feeling embrassed as a result of misunderstanding me....and I am being polite now......

You appear to fail to get you point across in all the verball twaddle you post. Cut them shorter and try come to the point.

I can and I do. I often even number my points for simpletons who cannot understand paragraphs.
Care to elaborate on the latest bunch of vague / sweeping statements you have made without foundation?

You appeared to have been a very talented runner but have dropped to a confrontational forumite these days.
Crank up yur training and let your time do the talking.

How is that living in the past? I do not post about previous achievements or lack thereof. In fact, I post about being lazy and having no interest.....ergo, i am not living in the past.....
i *really* don't understand you fella, you are contradicting yourself......if I was living in the past i'd be referring to this race or that race or when this happened or that.....I never do....seriously, I'm confused.
Im a modest fellow, mostly through having nowt to brag about :p
As regards being confrontational- i prefer argumentative (though not in a menacing bullying away which you previously asserted)...i will however concede the point as being a matter of semantics

I've a very harsh critic close to home.....he's a ballbag too.
You seem to have been offended by me pointing out an error (in all innocence) some 2 weeks ago, have been having digs ever since and when i called you an "arse-licker" tonight, you've lost all sense of rationality.
I suspect the rest of the forum will be holding this debacle in the top 10 greats of "2 tits have a public online slanging match"......i'm unsure if I've been pleased to have obliged or not however :o

At the risk of appearing sycophantic to my greatest admirer, I sometimes find FellMonster's postings of interest.

Why thank you sir. It is a fair comment to say that I am admirer of your scribings. I am truly flattered to occasionally be of interest. :D

So an Australian can run for Wales?
-
Re: England Mountain Running T
Yes, for the same reason Eduardo can play for Croatia..Pieterson can play for England..you can be eligible through reasons other than Birth..
Look at the international rugby teams..
People's knowledge of sport is quite frankly awful..
It sounds like here the residencey clause may be removed, a petty as it's allowed in almost every other sport.

Re: England Mountain Running T
But for this weekend the answer is actually "No"!
-
Re: England Mountain Running T
Look at the welsh ultra squad.....no it isn't..as I say poor knowledge...
-
Re: England Mountain Running T
It's ok to have an opinion though.
Personally i wouldn't want to run for any other country except the one i was born in. But that's my opinion and not the rules. :D
-
Re: England Mountain Running T
Of course it is. I think there's a few who chose not to represent other countries but others who do. I find the argument that I'm taking a person's place a bit weak though..we have 12 spaces in the ultra squad and 2 runners selected, both qualify on residency..there's 10 spaces available for people who want to run around a track for 24 hrs or want to run 2-10 k loops for a 100k, just form an orderly queue.. :-)
I just think there's a few kicking up a fuss for a few personal reasons.
TBH though I support England in sport but I've lived 18 years in England and nearly 12 outside of England. I've never lived in England as an adult. I suppose I'm one of the few who very much class themselves as British having only lived in Scotland and Wales (of the home nations) as an adult. I also wouldn't have competed for Scotland, that was never home, here is.

Re: England Mountain Running T
Tom that's why this countries so f****d up because of the politically correct numpties.
I'm not rascist, i went out with a girl who was from African origin.
I don't like being accused of being rascist in a roundabout way when i'm not.
I get the rip taken out of me every other day on sites for where i live or what i look like, i don't throw my dummy out and cry political correctness.
I just think it's a bit pathetic that's all
