i was panicking alittle mate half way down and gathering speed and wondering how does one stop, Emmi told me to zig zag which helped a little, still bloody hairy though (the descent, not emmi):D!!

Last place was something like 4:45 last year see results with 16 drop outs so very very unlikely. Its quite a fast first half too but as a rough rule of thumb figure that you're 40% of the way round time wise when you hit the bottom of Ogden Clough.

i am going to try andgo quite fast up to checkpoint 4 due to cut off time, after that, quite steady.

Not sure what sort of time to expect for myself but it would certainly be less than 6 hours, unless I did an extra lap ;)
