I think so, but I'm often wrong. I checked before I put the form up and as FellJunior says, only the short and medium count towards the U23 champs. The Duddon has always been over 21s only.

Hi mate
With the greatest of respect to tradition it is a championship race and I think the over 21 should be changed to over 18 in line with FRA rules. It is a bit excessive and I dont really want to do the u/23 championships they are just a conveniant part of the senior (over 18) championship and I also want to do the Lakeland Classics. It says on the FRA website over 18 so what is it? Ive got the entry form filled out and ready to go

We've talked it over and we think you're right: there's no reason not to bring the Duddon into line with the other classics. James has decided to allow over 18s and I've changed the entry form to include the U23 categories (but please note the race is not part of the U23 championships).

The splits for the 2010 Long Duddon are now on the site, along with a detailed view of each performance. Previous years will be updated soon. I'm sorry that took so long: it's automated now (hence the delay) and this year they should go up with the basic results on the day of the race.

I've also added an entry list that we will keep roughly up to date. There are 222 entries so far.

First time for me so any advice welcome.

Depends how wet it is up to the race,if it's dry you'll be ok in the roclites,wet i'd go for the talons

I,ve been round today....it was very darn wet!.....

The last bit up to Caw is always wet and boggy, even when it's been dry for a few weeks. I'd go with the x-talons over the roclites.
