SWMBO & myself were at a loose end last night so watched 'Paul' on 'Virgin pay-Per-View'
Damned bloody funny, if a little too 'sweary' for me.
However to me it's definately the best Pegg/Frost outing apart from 'Hot Fuzz'

Runaway Train just starting on BBC1
worth a watch if you've not seen it before
Rise of the planet of the apes, which was very good and x men - first class which was also entertaining.
Has anyone seen Our day will come, or Biutiful?
The Wildest Dream - 2010 Documentary/Film about the Mallory/Irvine Everest expedition of 1924.
The route of their ill-fated climb up the North Face is "recreated" by two modern day climbers, one of whom discovered Mallory's
body on an expedition to look for it in 1999. They used modern climbing equipment but they removed the Chinese ladder
from the second step and free climbed it. The letters written between Mallory and his wife Ruth are included as well.
There is some circumstantial evidence that Mallory/Irvine made it to the summit before they died on the return journey and
this film attempts to see whether it was possible in theory they could have reached the summit rather than if they actually did it.
More a documentary than a drama-documentary like 'Touching the Void' for example.
Bridesmaids. An unfunnily crude US film with token uk actors presumably to get token uk support. Funny in a few places but came across as an attempted rip of the hangover but forgetting to be funny and imaginative in the process. God knows how it managed to get some good reviews!
