Sorry - I was assuming it had been corralled here by the powers that be.
how much up and down is there on it does anyone know by chance ?
old un, according to Tracklogs with carefully plotted route it's 21.8 miles with 3,063 feet of ascent.
Multiterrainer, thanks for posting the entry form link. My entry's now in the post.
I love this one. It'll be my 13th consecutive year.
cheers nick, wow 13th year you must enjoy it !!! im popping an entry in post tom myself
It was a mud fest last year...I'll be entering again!!
I'll be along again, really enjoyed it last year. looking for sub 4 this year after taking a wrong turn very near the end.
my gps track from last year was 23.16m and 3,178ft (but i did at least a mile extra, but probably not much more ascent.)
And a strong head wind to fight against going westwards accross the moor after Lanshaw Lad as I recall. It's a regular fixture for me as well.
Probably worth entering fairly early as it filled up with a few weeks to go last time leaving quite a few people disappointed.

I ran just about the right route in 2010 and my Garmin made it 21.9 miles with 2,987 ft ascent. I then did it as a training run a few weeks later and got lost twice, which put me closer to Superflyguy's trace!Quote:

Will be doing some recces of the part from Burley to Guisley to make sure I don't do that again (and hope it's not too misty again)
