2 pints of Acorn Brewery Gorlovka Imperial Stout yesterday. Wow, what a great drink. 6%, so caution needed !
Works Xmas do last night. Started off with a belting Bitter & Twisted. Followed that with a pint of Salamander Stout & a pint of Guinness. Things then got a bit messy with vodka slush puppies.
same here, well the christmas do anyway.
windermere pale, roosters franklin, 2x Punk IPA. then the hotel and shite beer. Tetleys cream flow bluergh.... stopped drinking after that!

Buxton - Imperial Black. Bloody brilliant! at 7.5% it is, to quote at oft stated line, "ruinously drinkable"

Ooow got a choice tonight. Can have 1 of either a Liverpool pal from Liverpool organic brewary or a Tods blonde from Little valley brewary! Ones from me ones for the missus' dad..I get first pick. Anyone sampled either? I'm thinkin Tods blonde, being a blonde fan anyway

First year I'm missing the panto with the children. So will be settling down with my Christmas cd's (Joshua James & Martin Rossiter) & a bottle or 2 of Robinsons Old Tom.
first day back on the grind, so i stopped off in the rat race ale house, on the train station at Hartlepool. Swift couple of jars, 1 Thornbridge, Warp not one of the better Thornbridge ales but still pleasant enough, then couldn't resist a whopping 7.4%er, trufitt double IPA or sumut, canny drop although wouldnt like too drink too much of it!!! bit dizzy now and have to go to club comittee meeting in another real ale pub, damn
Jamaican Dragon stout - 7.5%, nice drop for a change.
