Load of bloody crap if you ask me, shoot em all in the leg, dump em in the outback and whoever gets back to civilisation first, wins. As long as they ain't got silicone implants:rolleyes:

You bunch of twits!
Amex and i mourn the demise of Jedward....not Jordan Price or whatever you call her. Can you not guage of the gravity of the occasion??
Jedward suck. Merry your new avatar is very distracting, i constantly find myself watching it...mesmerised, it's hypnotic in a slightly odd way ;)
Just had a first proper butchers at your avatar merry. I thought it was doing some kind of high impact aerobics. Bit like a latterday cat version of a Jane Fonda workout
I know i have asked this before. I do apologise for sieve like memory. Am i right in saying the meeting up is the 19th Dec ?. Are people going on the 18th or staying on the 20 th ?. Sorry once again sieve like memory . Is there still space ?. Just need to ask if wife working if there is and also if there is space and wife not working where is a good place to stay ?.
Hi T-M
People are meeting at the Moot Hall at 10.30am I think or Scales at 11am on Saturday 19th
A few are arriving on Friday and staying to do something on Sunday as well. About ten are staying at a private hostel called Denton House, others are in guesthouses and Hotels or caravans.
hope to see you there
There was a reservation in the Heatherlea guest house for B&B which i cancelled, the meeting point is Scales at 11:00 on 19/12/09. There is a car sharing meet half an hour earlier at some hall somewhere but i can't remember where.
......... :eek::eek: 'some' hall :rolleyes:
Tri-Mind,
as stated, yes the run is on saturday the 19th of December which will start (and end) in Scales at 11am.
The beer drinking starts at 7pm on the same day from the George in Keswick.
The curry is booked for 8pm (I think) at the Lakeland Spice in Keswick.
The Loft is the nightclub and folks will stagger in there when they feel the need!
Some are travelling up friday, some not, some are staying 1 night, some 2, some none. It is entirely up to you.
All accomodation searching/booking etc is your own responsibility.
You just need to be ready to run/walk/shuffle at 11am from Scales. There are those that are meeting at the MOOT HALL in Keswick purely to car share down to Scales.
Yeah that's it the Boot Hall, slipped my mind for a second there :p
You've not lived until you've hung around by the Moot Hall desperately trying to remember who everyone is and which real names match which usernames ;) I'm looking forward to it. One of the highlights of the year
When I finally get round to ordering my club vest, I'm thinking of having 'softie' put on the back.
Who had to give up their ticket to XOTF?
Mr B for the ''...some hall'' comment OR
Tom for ''....mekkah''
And you can rest easy, Merry will not turn out to be me though if you read back far enough there is a pussy issue which we share:eek:
And don't for a moment think that any old sweaty mud speckled drooling fellrunner is pinning a name tag to my chest....only after several bottles of red. I'm spoken for;)
OK Tom, you got your bid in first, Mr B is out:p
Even though I most enjoy running on my own (with no other peasants in tow to slow me down ;)) and have run about 6 fell races all in this year, its quite scary just how many of the potential attendees I will recognise. The baldies are especially easy :D
Would it be cheating if some kind soul took pity on this old slapper and added the names and Forum IDs to last years picture? At least it would give a head start and a chance for the less intellectual amongst us to begin trying to learn all those names!
