Excellent picture Richard, looks like fun. Templenewsam is "my patch" and where a lot of my training is done. I'm hoping to get to Trunce 3 on Monday, so will say hello this time (by the way, it's CheshireCat from RW forum here). It was time for a change of name to something more recognisable.

Do the juniors run the same course ?.
No. Winning junior last time was round in about fifteen minutes. But there is a minimum age of 10 according to the site.
Start is the same, juniors turn right at the end of the long track (seniors go down the hill) and do a loop which comes out at the bottom of the climb by the first/third river crossing, then follows the same route back as the seniors.Quote:

I did my usual trick of warming up too soon, & paid for it (plus I left you, & moved too far back - getting caught in the queue at the first gate)
Still, I managed to finish in 31:15 ('PB' = 31:13)
It was a fairly quiet night though for some reason, with only 191 runners:confused:
(so far this year there was; race 1 = 218, race 2 = 226)
