I've been wondering the same thing during this week. I was going to bring the full waterproof body cover and thermals just in case and bend someone's ear at registration tomorrow.
forcast is for mid 80's!!
had a quick chat and windproof will be ok (but bring waterproofs just incase) don't forget a hat(buff or sun)! and suncream
Just been flagging some of the route and it was quite windy, warm but windy.
Some extra news!!! Please park as per instructions at the community hall but registration and Walk start are at the NEW barn at our WMRT HQ across the road approx 3mins walk away. The bus will be leaving from here so if you don't want to walk back take you kit with you. Food will be served in the barn afterward. Toilets and showers are also in the new barn
as a matter of interest would anyone be interested in camping next year on the friday night, possible bunking may also be available?
Take a small bottle of water with you, we are arranging extra water for tomorrow but there is a shortage of cups!
sharing a very successful. Thanks to everyone
Top race - I've only ever done the old course from the barn but liked the new (to me) bit at the end rather than the drag along the railway line.
Very hot though - I got through 3L of water on route and another when finished and still havent peed!
Well that was superb! Thanks WMRT!
Despite bruising a rib after the first mile and a half... I enjoyed trotting the long course. Well done WMRT. Thanks to Dr John for checking me out at the end.
