Just a very light 4.42 mile today around Pex Hill on the soft ground. Took it steady due to tight calf from a few days ago that now seems to have eased. The stretching exercises seems to have helped a lot as well.

The Edges with Fleeter, Greenfield upto Alphin, Wimberry, Top Res, Fox Stone, Thomas Platt Memorial Cross, Alderman and than blat over the moor to The Cross Keys, quick pint whilst watching The Rush Cart Morris Men do their stuff (it's amazing how many Morris Men came upto us telling us how they used to be fell runners, is this a natural progression:eek:, don't think I will be putting bells on my Inov8's just yet). From Cross Keys back over to Greenfield...Cracking run, great way to while away two and a half hours. Cheers to Fleeter for the run..
cheers pal,was a good run
A nice steady run out over PPP route from Horton to Ribblehead with clubmates, followed by an excellent Steak and Old Speckled Hen pie at Helwith Bridge. A very pleasant way to spend a Bank Holiday!

Yesterday - 1 1/2 hours around Dovestones. Managed to get in three climbs onto the tops so quite intensive. It must have been "visit Dovestones annual day" yesterday - place was absolutely packed over the bank holiday Monday.
Yesterday: 1 hr 30 on bike with several all out sprints for as long as I caould handle it.
Today: gym weights and balance session for 45 minutes.
Shagged.
7 miles mostly off road. Longest run since February. I'm bloody unfit!
Raced on Sunday, raced on Monday - today's training is a good rest!:)
