It depends whether the club pays the £5 levy to UKA.

iam a ben virgin,so can anyone put me right on footwear for this one,fell or trail shoes?ive got mudclaw,montrail highlander or trailfox.iam also waiting for a pair of adidas kanadia to come,i heard some good reports so i thought i would give em a go

I tried in trail shoes 2 year ago and it was one of my biggest mistakes in this sport.:eek:

We used trail foxes a few years ago on the PPPYR and although they were pretty good for the run in they were destroyed by the time we got down.
If you are going straight up and down then you need grip:eek:

Mudclaw 330s for me.
Offer plenty of grip and support on the rough stuff. (Usually Struggle down Red Burn though :) )
