Re: Tour de Helvellyn
Im still puzzled by the 'permissive path' and 'forest track'...
if you veer off left and use the path through the wood then you miss out a section of 'forest track' which clearly isnt forest track at all as it is far too narrow at one point for a vehicle to travel along and also has a big seat to sit on. If that section isnt permissive then who would ever sit on the seat?
I'd like to stick to the route as laid down in the rules but this small point is much less clear than, for e.g., 'dont run along the A591'

Re: Tour de Helvellyn
The permissive track leaves the forest road at NY321156 and rejoins it at NY324146

Tour De Helvellyn
I'm looking to mark up a map for my first Tour de Helvellyn. Anyone got an old map they could take a photo of so I can check it's correct? Or even an electronic copy to hand they could post here?
Cheers

I think some of the controls have been moved slightly this year. A full description including grid refs is at http://www.nav4.co.uk/events/tour-de-helvellyn/
Just got our entries in, beginning to regret it already ;)
