splatcher, most people should have been faster last year because we had to take a short cut along the road due to a snowdrift blocking the farm track. Mud really slows pace down. Add gales and you get slowed even further. I was quite pleased to be only 5 minutes slower than last year anyway. It ranks as a better performance. :thumbup:
2009 was the record-breaking year for times thanks to dry conditions and firm, just frozen ground.
It was good to meet you Steampig, and good to chat Steve, Derby Tup, Stef and splatcher (did I forget anyone?). 3 hours flew by after I'd finished before I eventually left.
