I often talk to riders who just worry that its all very technical. Its really not and for a rider that does lots of miles a year it saves a fair whack of money.
Just wondering if anyone knows of anyone looking to sell a road bike??? My Ribble bought off FD is a great bike but im looking at doing a few more sportives and upping my mileage and as such am looking for a newer bike....budget of around 300 dabs but flexible...5.10 or therabouts with a 32 inch inside leg.

I agree... maybe we should arrange a guided session... I run Shimano, which means I need three different tools to get the crankset off and the BB out... If I could do it with you the first time, I'd feel more confident doing it again on my own...
