LDWA events

Er, I've also entered Trollers Trot, my first event of this type, any advice most welcome! I've bought a compass and it is really pretty.

A great race, through beautiful scenery. A favorite of mine but it always clashes with Wuthering Hike(HH)

these events are brill - I guarantee you'll enjoy it - even if you go slightly astray, it's all part of the fun!

It's a very runnable course set in great countryside. Navigation wise it's not too difficult either. I'm sure you will enjoy it.

Missed this Gordon, sorry. week after the Hobble is Edale :( so can't do it now. However I did get my shiny new LDWA members card today :)

Last time I did it it was a very sunny/frosty day and the reservoirs looked sooo picturesque....I wished I'd had my camera! ;)

Can somebody clue me in with kit requirements and confirm that it actually starts from Threshfield. The on-line info for this is sparse to say the least and some even refers to a 27 mile route starting off from Bolton Abbey. A good link to the current route wouldn't go amiss either.
