3 pints of Banks's at the Hoghton Arms, junction 3, M65.
Pedigree was also available. Food excellent and cheap!
No Ale tonight, but does doritos and chilli dip count LOL?
2 x bottles of Mountain Rescue Ale for me
BBQ today, sans beer!
Bottle of Hoegaarden in fridge doing nothing. On tablets that cannot be mixed with alcohol (I might explode, or something).
It just didn't feel right...
I have brought out of hiding my remaining bottle of homebrew cider that has been maturing for 3 months and escaped the recent 'mad wife' episode. Have promised to only have a couple of glasses and after a few mouthfulls the taste has improved with just 3 short months of being in the bottle. You could actually savour it now and appreciate it as a 'proper' cider!
Better get a few gallons on the go for winter (going to use brown sugar to lower the alcohol content).
Theakston OP.:) Only started having this again last weekend - after many years - because it's on offer at Asda. I'd forgotten how nice it is. Mmmm.
