Re: Anniversary Waltz 2013
Looking forward to this again. Nice and steady with the PPP the week after - might take some pics on the way around.
These are the best set of race pics I've seen. Really give you a feel of the race.

I've never found the best way of Dale Head yet in my 3 previous attempts and doubt I will again :D

I was so keen (i.e. forgetful) I accidentally entered twice and I see there are two of me on the start list. Neither of us will probably get the right route off Dale Head.

So long as you both take a different route, there an outside chance for one of you

Yes, it's probably safer if I take a different route from myself, because if I follow I'll just lead myself astray.

It was fantastic up there Steve. I set about it to have a bit of fun, with next week in hand, but I was sorely tempted to race it out when the wife came past me on Hindscarth :w00t:

Try this - http://connect.garmin.com/activity/300647569 - although not sure I took the best route down Catbells!

Re: Anniversary Waltz 2013
Another great AW - fantastic route, great weather, and well organized. What more could you want from a race - thanks again Steve and Wynn.
Also, apologies to a couple of people offering me encouragement who probably only got a mono syllabic grunt back in reply. Having taken a tumble on High Spy I was struggling towards the end and legs turned to jelly on cat bells. Not sure if you are forumites but thanks anyway - it was appreciated.
Still, I enjoyed it all nonetheless and will most likely be back again next year.
I took some pictures of the start of the TWA which are here:

Obviously still concussed from the fall or having a bit of a senior moment. What I actually meant to put was High Spy - I have absolutely no idea why I put that. Doh! :o
