Morning :D
Where is everyone? :(
Morning OHW,
I think they're all recovering from the weekend's races, BGRs etc.
You been out running this weekend? ;)
Weather was atrocious yesterday, nearly got blown away.
Me, no running, of course, still got a painful swollen foot, so not done much at all. :(
Afternoon all.
Nice and quite around here now the students have finished for summer holidays. Three days staff development programme on for everyone now. We are hoping that day 3 will bring a trip up Snowdon or over the Clwydians for our team?
Time for a youtube sketch I think. Liked this one, very pythonesque!!..

evening all bevolichers
what a beautiful evening, shame the weekend weather wasn't like this
Pinno, no races this week as club awards night wednesday and then travelling to Glasto thursday, next race will be Hot Foot up Famau next wednesday, then after that Moel-y-Gamlin. What you got planned? Bet it feels good knowing only 3 days left!
Saints, what ya do at the gym?
Early start Merry?
Just been out on the turbo trainer and the rollers, for some annoying reason only about 20 minutes of the session have been recorded. How annoying!!! I don't know whether it is because my speed sensor is mounted on the front so it won't have been active in the turbo trainer (but the heart rate and the cadence should have been recorded, and I didn a warmup on the turbo trainer.
Morning world. A lovely suuny morning here in Cronton so making an early start today.
:( I am pooooooped
Morning by the way :D
night merry, sleep well and shake the birds from the trees when yiu wake up!
Ey up HM
Hi Ady, you off work for a few days>? My last day tomorrow, first holiday since having a week off in March. Still haven't looked at the Weather forecast for Glasto though
A week or so off now. Had a trot this morning and out on the push iron 1st thing. Need to get to grips with my running though, it's been interrupted with my holiday and then a badly bruised big toe + I've been a little distracted with my new 2 wheel motorised toy!
a week off racing for me but then a full schedule in July culminating in the Snowdon Mountain race.
Good luck with the training then, and hope you have a great week. Let us know of any races you'll be doing in the next few months and i'll try and get to one.
Enjoy Glasto Moon.
Nice one Ady, off to do some reading, will probably be online tomorrow night then away thursday, speak soon, h
I ended up with a slightly different 2 wheeled beast,

Then I promptly entered an MTB race..... Last year I bought an MTB then entered a road duathlon! DOH!!!
Thought you were getting a Planet-X?
The trouble with Planet X is that nothing is ever in stock. Their '£999' bike hasn't been available at that price for months, plus I wanted to sit on and try some bikes rather than just buying blind. A shop down the road had a bunch of stuff that I tried out and that's what I walked out with. Better than waiting for mail order?
There's nowt like trying somthing out before you part with your dosh which is difficult via mail order (especially the Thai brides!). If you venture northward on it drop me a line.
Morning campers.....half way thru the week so enjoy the hump! :D
I was out on fri checking the bike out, chain snapped at 25mph when I was out of the saddle, did a 180 landed on my back / knee/ head and used it slow me down.
Left most of my skin in nice. Bike needed a new chain, front derailleur and saddle (bent - badly) and helmut cracked in 4 places.
Just incase anyone is thinking of buying bike bits in Nice, don't its feckin expensive.:mad:
ouch , def gonna swap my chain now , this one has been on a while. Use to swap it every year.
As long as the frame didnt get scratched though thats okay. Your skin will heal but a scratch on the frame , thats major surgery:eek:.
Good job you had yr helmet on
Thats weird, brought a new saddle last night from decathlon as my carbon saddle killed me on my 80mile ride.
If your helmets cracked its done its job for sure
well had to get a noo helmut for the race, they normally (but didn't this time) inspect them.
Reckon it snapped as I'd lengthened it as it had a compact on which I swapped as soon as I got it home, thou that was over 6 weeks ago . Amazingly I didn't scratch the frame at all. Nor the bar end shifters or the bar tape.
Apparently I landed on my back holding the bike above me and it then landed on the saddle and onto the aero bars and stopped on its side so the pedal and rear QR got scratched but thats it.
Saddle was proper goosed thou.
Morning
Happy hump day :D
Bizzy bizzy bizzy today
Afternoon...........:D phew crap going away eh....come back to bloomin loads to do
