...and mine. Oh, it is mine!;)

The bike with the litre engine is going and I also have a buyer for my Colnago so this means a shiny new one :):)
Decisions decisions
Got 65 mins in an managed a hilly 15 mile.
Good to be back on this thread:)
Well, did my lactate treshold test last night... disappointingly easy really... and I am disappointingly unfit :(
At least I have something to work on... deflection point at a HR of 156 bpm pushing 200 watts :o
Mind, at least coach had guessed my training zones right... so we just continued the way we were and I now know when I am actually working hard enough or not as there had been some doubt about that...
I cycled to get my hair cut.
The dry sunny weather saw 23 riders head through the Lanes out to Longridge. A group of 15 or so peeled off to the A6 to do an 18 miles loop through and off whilst another group veered off at Garstang for a smaller through and off loop. I went straight to the cafe to avoid having my legs shredded and tired for the 1/2 tour. After a brief lunch I took a full carbon stead for a test ride with SRAM red and SRAM 60 wheels, around 3.5K's worth of kit - it was OK but nothing special. I came home through the Trough of Bowland which looked fantastically clear and bright today. Good moderate ride of around 70 miles.
I am not keen on carbon, but it looks like a carbon frame gets sneaked into my collection of Ti, steel and alloy bikes... this new bf is a cheeky bugger, he seems to be giving me his Dolan TT frame, as he has bought a P3 :rolleyes:
Waiting for a quote off Fat Birds Don't Fly for a Van Nicholas Astraeus with SRAM red. Much more sensibly priced than the Van Nicholas website although it aint gonna be cheap
Ohhhhhhh, I LOVE those Van Nicholas bikes...
Have a look at what I have got though:

I have the race won... you can get it with Sram red, no problems... It was recently reviewed in Cycling weekly even :)
And he is working on a cross bike for me now :):):)
Looking forward to three hours on the track later :)
Read something somewhere yesterday that PX are moving their Ti frame production from Lynskey (founders of Litespeed) to Van Nicholas.
Thanks for that Hann - I have spoken with a guy there and he is going to get back to me with a price. The S40 wheelset looks well with the frame, what wheels are on yours?
just waiting for my cannondale super six with ultegra 6700 etc from Wheelbase and then i will overtake the lot of you
(going down the Blych y groes with a force 10 tailwind)
Oh and I don't have the integrated seatpost, as the UCI is throwing a wobbly over those, so you probably can't race a bike with an integrated seatpost... Stupid UCI grrrrrrrrrrrrrr... Have you followed what they are doing with TT bikes at the moment?
The new builds are with partial integrated post so will be OK. Not sure who I spoke to, guess it will be on the email on Monday...........
Cool, I have a semi-integrated seatpost... It is a lovely bike!
Fab session on the track today too! Three hours of bloody hard work, especially as I have rather a small gear on the bike and was pedalling at an insane cadence to keep up with the guys... 40 odd blokes and me in that session :D
30m today which followed a hill rep session with the juniors this morning.
Legs very tender and it feels great:)
35 minute spin on the turbo this morning, to loosen up the legs before a 12 hour working day... and after sitting in the van for 15 hours yesterady... That after a hard 3 hour track session on Friday was a bit much
One hour steady on the road before another 12 hour day tomorrow... Dry and cold but sunny here in Holland...
Looking forward to three hours on Tuesday :)
And that is where you are wrong Daz, I am in Amstel Gold Race territory, it is actually very hilly... I have the Cauberg to climb within one kilometer from where I am staying every morning
Of course I rode here ;)
Yeah, will see if I can get spome unsuspacting passing Dutch man or woman to take a picture of me going over the Amstel Gold Race finish line lol
As well as some unsuspecting Belgian to take a pic of me on some cobbles as well...:)
Interesting :-)

Just over an hour... 2 decent climbs, 5 miles of false flat into a freezing Easterly... temperature -6  Very hard work because of t:)he cold! Good ride though
