we had adult enrolement week, then 16-18 year olds later on in the week but the main enrolement is August....so much for a paperless exostence it's all over the place!
recovered well thanks apart from the huge sun burnt blisters on my back!
*ouch* emmi, sun burn does not sound nice
nor does all that paperwork, i say go for tea and biccies like pinno ;)
but peeling skin is soooooooo nice :D
or am I just wierd????:o
or mold it into a mini emmi
Talking of Mini (Em)Me, wasn't there a dutch character in one of the Austin Powers films who liked peeling and eating his own skin like Emmi?
Evening Folks! Anyone watching the Mandela concert from Hyde Park?
Sometimes injuries seem to take an eternity to heal then all of a sudden things improve.
Oh no the nightshift.:(
Simple Minds have just been on (my fav). Andrea Corrs on with Brian May now? Its been a bit long winded but most of the acts on have been okay. Not very impressed with Amy Winehouse though.
Weather seems okay at Hyde Park.
hi Pinno
Evening all. Everyone had a good weekend?
Evening Pinno
right bedtime here a lot to do tomorrow. Night Roger rabbit
Is it monday again already?
Have a good day all.......not around much we have a staff 'development' week.....get to go to the army barracks all day tomorrow though :D
Morning all.
Emmi had all our staff development last week finishing with a nice Pub lunch at the Druid Inn then a walk up Moel Famau on Wednesday.
When everyone went home I had a run over the Clwydian hills not a good idea after such a big lunch.
One 7 days left at work then summer hols till 20 Aug.:)
Morning all, bloody Monday again!!!!
FFS this is getting a regular event and am not happy about it :(
:( i don't like mondays
i want a staff development week, sounds good :D
Monday morning and I have the pleasure (?) of the interviewing the first of five applicants this week, well the first of five from the 107 applications we received
staff development week!
Sounds like an excuse for a pee up at the taxpayers expense!
and the idea of interviews all week is quite appealing an all!
I have some engineering to do, mainly involving exhell spreadsheets and other paper engineering projects :(
How was the weekend hills? Any races?
did two hours on the ironhorse on sat, sunday went for a run for 40 mins and felt bloody awfully. Then sat on my butt watching series one of battlestar galatica felt guilty so did an hour on my turbo trainer.
There's a fell race up my way on sat I fancy so might even head out to the hills, remind my legs what its like to go uphill.
Paper engineering going well, I've ticked some boxes and even made some of them green :D
oh injuries healing but scabs (sounds yucky don't it) are now getting itchy and beginning to fall off. People can follow me round now with the rate I'm shedding them :o
Whoopee! Its Monday! How's it going all you QAH regulars? Whats happened to JJ's avatar:confused:
Its been all go today with no end of data and paperwork to sort plus mega spreadsheets to project retention and achievement against previous years figures.
Think I should of been an accountant? Bugger it time for a cuppa.
Evening peeps
Good thanks. Had mi birthday week, got mi new bike, been on holiday and worshipped the sun, been out for regular trots up the hill - things are pretty damn good. Out on the push iron in the morning for most of the day and the weather forecast is gooooooood :). Sorry to hear about your injury - are you doing any swimming or such like?
A belated Happy Birthday to you! ;) Sounds great! Yeah the weather forecast is hot hot hot for tomorrow! :) So you should have a great summery day out... for a change!
I haven't been swimming, to be honest I hate the stuffiness of indoor pools. been going to the gym alot though and doing weights, cycling and stairclimber, so not been a complete couch potato!
It's not the same as running in the hills but it keeps you active, hope you get back to running fitness soon. Am just ticking over running at the moment but enjoying it, seem to have too many activities to enjoy instead of focusing and sharpening up one! No doubt will be up the Yorkshire Dales in the morning - love it :)
Cheers MG - by the way, you live in one of my fave parts of the world. Sister in law lives in Brompton and I would like to move up that way if I can find a job in Darlo or Middleborough.
