I've got to do this one seeing as it takes in some of my favourite local paths; I reckon I could do the Beamsley Beacon - Ellarcar Pike bit with my eyes shut! Will be doing some sort of recce next weekend (21/22) if anyone fancies it.
Chris - is it definitely being run anti-clockwise? I don't want to recce it the wrong way round!

i thought it was clockwise - have they changed it ?

What is the footwear recommendation for this course? I have a choice of Inov8 290's or some Mizuno ribbed trails...........
