You'll be fine Joey, come along with the fast pace group – you're guaranteed a good seat next to the fire in the Lion if you get back early ; - )Do we have any idea how many might be running on Sunday?

Not sure - maybe 8-10 CVFR, 7-10 from the village, 5-10 from various Leeds/Bradford Clubs, plus Southern Softie and his Clayton buddies, not including any Toddies or Splatcher.
More than 10. Less than 60.
Wonder how much soup Barry should make?
Re: Heptonstall Recce 29th Jan
Steady group???
Had a few enquiries about the steady group (ie not fast or medium group) The full route could take over 3.5 hours at a slower pace; there is an option to save about 45-min hour by cutting short at around 10 miles in Hardcastle Craggs if you like. Will make sure we find someone to lead this group
Anyone looking for more relaxed / steady-paced run???
Re: Heptonstall Recce 29th Jan
Me please. I may be able to do quicker, but at this stage wouldn't want to jeopardise my progress. Main aim for me is time on my legs and finishing with no niggles. If just me, I'll go medium and cry off at first H'castle Crags pass if needs be.

Room for one more? Are all groups setting off at 0900 from White Lion?

Re: Heptonstall Recce 29th Jan
The forecast looks okay btw; chilly (max of 3C on the BBC website), early mist but no rain given . I might even wear sleeves!
Re: Heptonstall Recce 29th Jan
See you at 9am outside the Lion. Beautiful day on the tops today. Might be a bit hard under foot first thing?

Thanks for letting us know Sarah! Look forward to seeing you all tomorrow… I'll ask the Landlord in the Lion to make sure he puts on extra soup – I have a feeling it's going to be a healthy turnout, should be fun!!
