Good day out on Saturday.
Was pushed all the way round by Daleside & Widdy and was expecting them to breeze past on the descent - everybody else did (!). Was getting concerned when I didn't see the Invisible man during the race or for a part at the finish.
Good to meet Zlod on top of the hill and Just a lurker for the 1st time - was encouraged by a few people on the way down but no idea who you were - Sorry.
Great day out, with much improved weather
shouted to Manhar on the way down, but dont know many other forumites...sorry :(
love this race, and will be back again and again etc etc
A friend organiser of the 100 this weekend said his brother-in-law ran Cadair. Had a really bad fall and has a lump of Welsh rock lodged inside his knee, which now has to be operated on. Fairly bad by all accounts, anyone see this?
Cader is where I've taken my bloodiest series of falls. I think Pike's had a good tumble there.
Yep, it took me considerably longer to descend than I anticipated!!
I was chatting to a St John's man at the end. He said there'd been 4 casualties, one of whom was a hospital case - this must have been the fella with the rock in his knee. Ouch!!
