Great Whernside

Map of course attached. Its very straight forwards affair, out and back from the campsite to the summit.

Its not in the online fixture list because that is the choice of the organiser. Full details are in the FRA handbook though, also the race was previewed in 'The Fell Runner' magazine in I think February 2007 prior to last years championships.

Sorry the map's a bit blurred due to low resolution, but I think you will get the drift when you compare it with your own map.

Are we parking in that boggy field again Peejay or should we find a spot on the road?

The field is available again this year, and you will have paid for the privilige of parking there in your entry fee. Unfortunately degree of boggyness is beyond my control :rolleyes:

Well if you're on Whernside you'll be on your own. At least one person seems to confuse Whernside and Great Whernside every year :rolleyes:.

I'm thinking about doing this as I've not done it before :)

I'm intending to be there too. Something tells me it'll be a bit colder and damper than running in Marseille last weekend...:eek:
