Adidas Kanadia Trail

Kanadia Trail Shoes seem to be getting bad press, so can you all come back and tell me why, because i bought them today, i had to buy the mens ones as they had none of the ladies left, theyre very comfortable, are they okay for trails? as i am a beginner and i will only use them on trails as in Heaton park and Rivington, i did go looking for a pair of Puma Foxtrail as someone recommended, but the shops in Mcr do not sell them, i have to wait to goto watch a race to get a pair of them, so what do you all really think?

They are trail shoes.

Nothing wrong with them really, just i abused mine by wearing them for running over rocks. Ive got my moneys worth out of them though, dont just use them for just running either.....walking, cycling.....basically when ever im going to get my feet muddy i wear them.

NB! After all that faffing in the shops in M'cr today! Were they or were they not the most comfortable pair you tried on? Fit is so important. For £45 they are almost half the price of a lot of other trail shoes, so they are maybe not going to be the most long lived shoe which is why people are managing to trash them , but they are more than adequate for some trail running round Heaton Park or Rivi.

Yeap, i dont see why these last you a long time to be honest.

I rather love mine, and when this pair die i shall buy another.

I agree with EC and Al. They do come up very small sizewise, like you mine are mens and like Al I do notice that you only have to see a puddle and your feet are wet but so long as you like grey socks all is well! My only real concern is that the insole cannot be removed either to wash or replace and that might limit how many miles you can get out of the shoes; oh, and the laces are wa*k, change them before running.

I find that a bugger yeap....and my laces are abit crap as well yeah, i did a tripple knock and it worked out.

I've been battering mine for 6mths now & they're still in fine fettle.
For 40 sheets, they're the best trail shoes I've tried.
Sizewise, the are ridiculuously small, try afore you buy.
For general off-road/trail use, I give them a resounding thumbs-up.
Will be looking at buying a second pair, if/as/when these fall apart.....

Fully agree with Eric - I paid £45 at Sweatshop with 10% club discount. I've done quite a few miles in them and I'm happy.
My feet get just as wet in Swoops and Walshes but at least in the Kanadia they seem to dry out again quite quickly.
No blisters - no visible wear and tear to cause concern.
If I get around the PPP in them then I'll probably get another pair.

Buy 1/2 size or 1 size up though -best to try on first.

Yep i did take a looooong time finding these shoes, i haven't had them off since i got in, yes very comfortable too...

I will buy more when i need them, i love the bright colours of these shoes, i just got worried when i saw what Alex written, so i thought i would ask.. :)

Hi all, My first post and a brief one. I live in Wetherby, West Yorks, and was in York's Macarthur Glen shop centre, where the Addidas shop had Kanadia shoes for £25! There are other Mac glens around the country so may have more widely available.
