Sister Kate Archer is coming along well at Ilkley and Graham's wife Kay, also Ilkley, improves in leaps and bounds; third just behind Mrs BGSec at Rombalds Stride on the first time she'd run more than 15 miles.
Then there's Graham 2 girls...........
Only GP for FF 2010 though.

Runway,
If you didn't play last year, your team will be in the Kaliber league this year.
At the end of the season there's promotion and demotion between the leagues.
So unfortunately you only have 13 pints to spend.
(That's unless you're actually one of last year's managers under a different alias !)
Cheers, Bill

iirc Kay came out with us one Wednesday a year or two ago and I saw Graham with one of his nippers trotting round the quarry before the Stanbury Splash

Re: Fantasy Fellrunning 2010
I've found out that two of my runners are carrying injuries. In fact if they were racehorses they'd be shot.
I'm unsure of the ethics of euthanising your FF team.

Get-em changed before 12pm tomorrow Duff.
I had a different team until I looked at the entry list and NONE of my 1st choice were running. Plan B Syart with the new team and look to make subs at the right time:D

Re: Fantasy Fellrunning 2010
Is anyone else actually more excited about the fantasy fellrunning competition than actually running the championship races!
will post my team shortly - just got to have a management chat with each and every one of them to check commitment to the season.

I could just use substitutes. However I do like the idea of culling my lame runners. I think it sends a strong managerial message to the survivors. Harsh but fair.;)

Re: Fantasy Fellrunning 2010
Team name : The Fells Have Eyes.
Ben Mounsey : 3 pints
Jon Wright : 2 pints
Zanthe Wray : 3 pints
Maureen Laney : 5 pints
Two ladies, two gents, two vets, two open. Seems balanced enough!

You need 4 members and at least one has to be the other sex.
3 boys and a girl
3 girls and a boy
or just 2 of each

I think i am starting to work out what you are doing bit confused at first.

Re: Fantasy Fellrunning 2010
Allow me to make a substitution please Bill. There's been speculation elswhere on the forum that Walwyn is racing the Nationals, and Winskill will be absent. Complete reshuffle required.
Jellybaby's Jellybabies Mk II
Graham Pearce (6)
Darren Kay (4)
Steve Hebblethwaite (1)
Holly Williamson (3)
-
Re: Fantasy Fellrunning 2010
Forum Floosies' Favourite Fellsters 2010
Lloyd Taggart (9 pints)
John Brown (3 Pints)
Alison Eagle (2 Pints)
Steve Hebblethwaite (1 Pint)
Last words before tomorrow - Alison, please dont let Lloyd drink his 9 pints tonight - remind him they have to last him all year - and John and Steve dont stay up all night in your bunk beds chatting about PBs. B.E.D spells Bed! all of you.
Now where's that nice Rioja........?

B-S League.
It just takes a single pint to entice Richard Roberts into your team.
So you have an extra one to spend if you like FitC.

Just so we're clear, my wife is at home tonight and has no interest in or control over Taggart's beer consumption.
I think you need to speak with someone else. ;)
