Apologies for asking such a trivial question - what size should the S.A.E be ? A5, A4 ? :o
I sent an A5 SAE. Either size will do I should think.
Just checked the coniston website - ENTRIES CLOSED, LIMIT REACHED.
http://www.conistonfellrace.org.uk/
That was quick :)
Good luck to everyone that got in.
Bugger. Subs allowed?
Any sign of starting list yet so I know whether I'm in or not. I need to know so that I can start training. Thanks.

A list of competitors will be added when we've inputted them all to the database, confirmation will also be sent out in your SAE . It will be a week or more until this is up on the site.
So i pressume any time now. 42 days till race day according to the website.
Fair enough....
Any sign of whose got in yet?
Entry list posted 24mins ago-http://www.conistonfellrace.org.uk/
Al guaranted 2nd u23 :D 530 runners in
Thanks for that. All entered then. Nice one No disapointments and probably a few dropouts to make numbers a bit more sensible on the day. Any stiles in the first mile?!
Bugger....better start training now
......more than 40 listed in the V50's:(
Couple of quickie's
Anyone camping on the Saturday eve.
Is there a ceilidh or summit on.
I've just received my confirmation by post (not looked at the website) which states "NO ENTRIES OR SUBSTITUTIONS ON THE DAY" so I'd beware of that.
I just hope that all who decide not to run for whatever reason (may well be me included!) tell someone else and give them the opportunity. A reduced field may make for a more environmentally friendly and less congested field but to me filling the entries in 3 days is just ludicrous.
Fair enough if you want to run that badly you send your entry off as soon as they open, however suppose 1000 people all did that on 1st March? Your chances of getting in would boil down to a lottery of whose postal workers were the most efficient! Good for the sport that it's so popular but this could get silly.
That first climb is going to be a tight squeeze!
Going up to watch and support Calder Valley.
Camping Fri and Sat so might jog up an hill or two to watch the race.
